Working hard & with my hands outdoors and in and tired of the same old stained glass templates, I thought I’d like to change it up & create glass more my style; Funky, whimsical, down to earth, eccentric, impulsive and adventurous like me. Stained glass designs can add colorful conversations to any area of space, place and thought.

 

When you get an idea of something you want to make, draw it out and draft it up until you get the right pattern - Head to the glass suppliers that are fortunately around and slide pane after pane in color heaven until you find the ones - Skip outta there giddy with excitement and set off to the studio to pin your layout blocks and measure thrice!

Use the puzzle template you've drawn to carve, score, snap and grind each piece of glass until you’ve got yourself a puzzle…then clean it of oils, wrap it in the right copper foil, burnish the sides, flux it up and solder it together. Build the right frame, clean profusely, patina, pick, polish, scrub and spank until it’s ready to show!
